Disclaimer about most recent V3 update 7/26/2025
This update includes changes to modded OnStoreLoad variables, which are not compatible with existing saved data. To prevent crashes or corrupted storage, you'll need to delete the storage_1 folder in your mission directory. This is a known DayZ engine limitation when variable structures are altered.

Introducing Bed-Respawning V3

This mod allows you to respawn at a placed sleeping bag after death, giving you a personal respawn point in the world. After placing the bag, you must claim it to activate it; each player can only have one active bag at a time.

How to Configure
The default settings can be located inside your server's profile folder after you've loaded the mod for the first time.
Locate the generated folder named "BedRespawn2" and you should see a Config.json inside, you can edit this.

You can configure the mod settings before loading by simply opening this mod's folder and copying the folder named "BedRespawn2" to your server's profile folder. This method can also be used to update the config if I ever add anything new so be sure to check the Change Notes.

Note to Modders
if you want to integrate this mod into a spawn selection system, you can use the config DisableAutoSpawnCall to disable the spawn call in Bed-Respawning.
Somewhere in the server realm, invoke this method below when wanting a player to spawn on a bag / bed :
BedFrameWork.TeleportPlayer( PlayerBase player );

Monetization Rules
Allowed to be used on monetized servers as long as you have monetization approval from Bohemia Interactive.
