Dumpster Dive

DumpsterDive is a DayZ mod that lets players rummage through trash to find loot. It is fully customizable, with more than 30 settings to make it work the way you want!

DumpsterDive starts quickly and uses standard JSON syntax for configuration.

The following features are configurable:

[*] Configurable chance of finding loot
[*] Unlimited number of loot types
[*] Risk of getting cuts when rummaging without gloves
[*] Risk of vomiting when rummaging without a mask
[*] Rummaging can damage gloves
[*] Rummaging can damage masks
[*] Items found in trash can carry diseases
[*] Food items can come in any stage (rotten, burned, etc.)
[*] Randomized item damage
[*] Randomized item quantity (optionally controlled by "types.xml")
[*] Notifications for instant feedback of rummage success or failure
[*] ...and more!

DumpsterDive reads its configuration from "$profile:dumpsterdive/settings.json". If this file does not exist when DayZ server starts, the file will be created with the default settings.
