🧠 Mod: Bastardos Hacked Crate (BSHC)

🎯 Transform your DayZ server into a dynamic battlefield with the Bastardos Hacked Crate mod!
This mod introduces high-stakes, hackable loot crate events that create intense PvP and PvE hotspots. Find a crate, start the hack, and defend your position against opportunistic players and hostile AI attracted by the commotion. High risk, high reward!

🔑 Key Features

🔓 Hackable Crates: Discover durable crates across the map. Interact with them to begin a timed hacking sequence.

⏱️ Visible Countdown & Immersive Sounds: A digital timer on the crate displays the remaining time to all nearby players. The event is accompanied by custom audio, from the tense countdown beeps to a rewarding sound on completion.

🖥️ In-Game Admin Menu (NEW): Configure almost everything live, without touching a single file. From the menu you can:

[*]Edit static & dynamic crate settings (spawn points, timers, limits, refresh).
[*]Build and customize loot tables, including attachments.
[*]View all active crates live and check their status.
[*]Force-spawn, unlock or despawn any crate.
[*]Teleport to crates and read server logs.

Open it with the J key (default — fully rebindable under Controls) or with the !hcmenu command. (See setup below to grant admin access.)

📦 Multiple Crate Models (NEW): Choose between the original crate and two brand-new models — BS_Hacked_Crate_Scify (sci-fi) and BS_Hacked_Crate_Military (military).

🗺️ State-Based Marker Colors (NEW): Give the 2D/3D map marker a different color depending on the crate's state:

[*]Idle — spawned, waiting to be hacked (default: red).
[*]Hacking — hack in progress (default: yellow).
[*]Unlocked — unlocked / looted (default: green).

Fully customizable, or disable it to keep a single fixed color.

🤖 Advanced Tactical AI System:

[*]Strategic Spawning: Choose when the threat appears! Use SpawnAIOnCrateSpawn to have guards from the start, or SpawnAIOnHackStart for a surprise ambush when the hack begins.
[*]AI Waves: Configure multiple waves of AI to attack players during the countdown, increasing the difficulty and intensity.


🔔 Advanced Event Notifications:

[*]Warning System: Announce crate spawns in advance with WarningTimeMinutes, letting players prepare for a fight.
[*]Location Privacy: You decide what to reveal. Use ShowLocationInNotifications to show or hide the event's location in all global messages.


🛡️ Untouched Crate Protection: Dynamic crates that are ignored will automatically despawn after a configurable time (MaxLifetimeMinutes_NotTouched), preventing "stale" events and keeping your server's events fresh.

💎 Deeply Customizable Loot: Use loot_pools.json to define exactly what spawns in your crates. The weighted probability system gives you full control over item rarity and quantity.

⚙️ Dynamic & Static Spawn Control: Configure an unlimited number of crate events. Use Static Spawns for fixed, reliable locations, or Dynamic Spawns to have the mod randomly place and replenish a set number of active crates across the map — each with its own refresh interval.

🧩 Automatic Configuration Updates: Your config files are future-proof! When the mod is updated, it will automatically add any new parameters to your existing JSON files with safe default values.

📜 Admin Logging: Detailed server-side logs are generated for every event, making monitoring and debugging easy.

🌍 Multilingual Support: Fully translated into over 10 languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, English, Chinese, German, and more!

🛠️ Configuration Files
The mod's configuration is highly flexible and auto-generated in your server's profile folder ($profile:\Bastardo_HC) on the first launch!

[*]BS_Global_settings.json — Master settings for the mod, like the global event refresh timer.
[*]BS_Static_crates.json — Define all your permanent, static crate events here.
[*]BS_Dynamic_crates.json — Define all your randomized, dynamic crate events here.
[*]loot_pools.json — Configure all loot tables and item probabilities.
[*]admins.txt — List of admins allowed to open the in-game menu (see below).


🔑 Setting Up Admin Access
To use the in-game admin menu, you must add yourself as an admin:

[*]On first launch, the mod creates admins.txt inside $profile:\Bastardo_HC\.
[*]Open it and add your Steam64ID, one per line (one ID per administrator).
[*]Lines starting with // are treated as comments and ignored.
[*]Save the file. Only the listed players can open the menu with the J key or !hcmenu.
