TraderX: the trading system for DayZ, successor to TraderPlus
TraderX is a complete trading, banking and garage system for DayZ servers. It is the successor to TraderPlus: a full rewrite with a modern interface, safer server-side rules and an easy migration path.
Status: stable. Fully compatible with DayZ 1.30. It is ready for live servers. As always, test big updates on a test server first.
Features
[*]Trader: category sidebar, item tiles or list with buy and sell prices, a cart with totals, favorites, and buying or selling many items at once.
[*]Weapon customization: buy weapons with attachments, variants, server presets and your own saved presets.
[*]Vehicles: buy and sell vehicles with parking spots.
[*]Banking: accounts, ATMs, bank cards, transfers between players, a full ledger, a personal vault, and paying traders from your bank balance.
[*]Garage: park a vehicle and get it back exactly as it was (attachments, cargo, fluids, damage, lock), with 3D preview, servicing, insurance and sharing with other players.
[*]CarLock: 4-digit code locks, lockpicks, and vehicle receipts (pack a vehicle with a wrench, deploy it from the receipt).
[*]Safe zones and licences.
[*]Spreadsheet catalog: new servers get products.csv, categories.csv and presets.csv. Edit them in Excel or Google Sheets. Errors are reported with file and line number.
Requirements
[*]Community Framework (CF) only. DabsFramework is no longer needed, and our UI framework (DayZular) is built in.
[*]If your server also loads DayZular, keep it up to date.
Coming from TraderPlus, Expansion Market or Dr Jones Trader?
TraderX imports a TraderPlus server almost completely: config, traders, stock, licences, bank accounts, vehicles and their CarLock locks, the TraderPlus money players carry, bank cards, and vehicle receipts. Your TraderPlus files are never modified, and a MigrationReport file lists everything that was imported.
Use TraderX instead of TraderPlus, not next to it. Try the migration on a test server first, then move your live server.
Expansion Market and Dr Jones Trader are supported too: TraderX imports their traders, categories, products, prices, stock and NPC placements (and Expansion ATM balances, credited when each player logs in). Anything without a TraderX equivalent is listed in the migration report.
Updating from an older TraderX
[*]Back up your profile folder before updating.
[*]Your config, catalog, presets and parked vehicles are kept.
[*]You can remove DabsFramework if no other mod uses it.
