This is an admin tool for server owners and management. By running a command in the game chat (by pressing Enter and then writing a string) you will be able to restore a player's inventory back to their most recent death. This system only saves a snapshot of the most recent death, so if a player dies again, the data will be overwritten.
To run the command, write this into your chat:
/comp
Obviously, substitute for the exact player you're attempting to roll back. This command will always respawn the player instantly, leaving them at whatever defined spawnpoint you have given them - vanilla or otherwise - with the entire loadout they've lost.
Known issue:
Sometimes nested objects (e.g. attachments on guns) do not save. You may have to give these back to those players manually. At least this mod does 99% of the work for you.
This utility can be used by any SuperAdmin defined by VPP Admin Tools' config, but you can also add the permission flag "RestorePlayer" to any user group's m_Permissions flag array to grant them the ability to use this powerful feature.
