In-game admin GUI for Weather & Lighting Control, delivered through Community Online Tools. Click weather patterns into existence, edit them live, save new ones — no chat commands, no JSON editing, no restarts.
REQUIREMENTS — READ THIS
This is an optional companion mod for Weather & Lighting Control. It does nothing on its own. To use it you need:

[*] Community Online Tools (COT) — server + admin clients
[*] This mod — server + admin clients
Standard players don't need any of these.
After install, you MUST set "enable_testing_mode": 1 in $ServerProfile/WLC/weather_config.json for the panel buttons to work. Without that flag the panel still opens and shows live status, but every action button silently no-ops on the server. This is the same safety gate that protects the chat commands. The status block displays the current testing-mode state so you can see why nothing is happening.
What the panel does
[*] Live status — current pattern, countdown to next change, active sequence + step, paused state, night brightness, testing-mode gate state
[*] Force a pattern — one button per pattern in your config. Click → instant apply
[*] Start a sequence — one button per enabled sequence
[*] Quick commands — Previous / Random / Next / Pause / Resume / Cancel sequence
[*] Duration override — slider sets time until next automatic change
[*] Live pattern editor — every editable field of the active pattern (overcast, fog, rain, snow, wind, storm, vol fog, timing, weight). Apply writes to disk and re-applies live. Revert pulls fresh from server. Save As New clones under a new name
[*] Reload config from disk — pick up JSON edits without restarting
Permissions
The panel registers a single COT permission: Weather.WLC. Any role with Weather.WLC, Weather.*, or * (the standard Admin role) gets access automatically. No per-admin configuration needed.

Server:

Admin clients do not need WLC core — only the server does. The sub-mod is designed to compile cleanly client-side without WLC core's PBO present.
Enable testing mode: in $ServerProfile/WLC/weather_config.json, set "enable_testing_mode": 1. Restart the server, or open the panel and click Reload config from disk.
What this mod does NOT do
[*] Does not change WLC core's behavior. Weather still runs the same way, off the same JSON config
[*] Does not replace chat commands. /w next, /w seq NAME, etc. all still work
[*] Does not edit time-of-day weights, seasonal weights, anti-repeat settings, night lighting range, or sound multipliers — those stay in JSON
[*] Does not work without the testing-mode flag enabled in WLC core's config
[*] Does not work without all four mods (WLC core + CF + COT + this) on the server, plus CF + COT + this on the admin client
Compatibility
[*] Requires DayZ 1.29+ (matches WLC core's support window)
[*] Tested with Community Framework + Community Online Tools current versions
[*] Coexists with other COT panel mods — registers under its own Weather.WLC permission and own RPC range
[*] Skipping this mod has zero effect on WLC core — it's purely additive
Support
Enable "debug_logging": true in WLC core's config for detailed per-action logs. Look for lines in the server log. Most issues come down to one of:
[*] Missing the testing-mode flag (set enable_testing_mode: 1)
[*] Admin client missing CF or COT
[*] COT role missing the Weather.* or * permission
