Generic Gunplay is a free gunplay mod, it adds visible customizable weapon attachment stats and lets you customize the stats
Generic Gunplay automatically detects loaded weapons, attachments, magazines, ammunition and armor from vanilla DayZ and weapon mods.
With a simple json file you can change hipfire, recoil, sway, ADS speed, precision, magazine stats as you like .
No custom weapon sounds or third-party assets are included. Original weapon sounds and assets remain untouched.
Customizable Crosshair
Includes a customizable crosshair that can be aligned with the weapon or changed back to the Vanilla behavior. Admins can allow players to change it or force them to use a specific setting.
Installation / Server Notes
Load Generic_Gunplay on the server and clients like any other Workshop mod.
No specific weapon mod is required.
Vanilla weapons are supported automatically. Expansion weapons and other Workshop weapon packs are detected when they are loaded.
New or updated weapon mods are scanned during server startup and added to the generated configuration files.
Config
Generic_Gunplay generates server configuration files that allow admins to adjust global balancing, individual attachment stats, attachment tiers, weapon values, magazine values, crosshair behavior and stat displays.

Read the ADMIN_CONFIG_GUIDE.txt included in the mod folder.
Generic_Gunplay replaces the older SNAFU_Gunplay, AJ_Gunplay, Mortys_Gunplay, DeltaForce_Gunplay and Buca_Gunplay addons. Do not load these older Gunplay addons together with Generic_Gunplay.
Native ammunition damage, ballistics, dispersion and armor configuration remain controlled by the original mods. You need to create a config override if you want them changed.

You are allowed to use this mod on monetized servers as long as you follow Bohemia Interactive monetization rules and the rules of every loaded third-party weapon mod. No pay to win.
Repack, unpack and modification for your own server are allowed
You are not allowed to sell any part of this code or reupload it on the Workshop, or anywhere else, as your own mod.
